Restore Mind and Body Balance with 90 minutes of Spiritual Meditation Therapy.

The Sacred is you.... Believe it - Become it.

I am Clyde McClain "Mac" Lewman, ordained by the Universal Life Church.

I have 45 years of practice in tai-chi, 35 years in chi-kung, 25 years in yoga, and 60 years of seeking higher knowledge through a university education in psychology and philosophy, and later in Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianity, Gurdjieff work, and in becoming a disciple of Paramhansa Yogananda. I am none of these things; I am all of these things, and I am things not yet discovered.

Our practice is physical and focuses on seeking God and healing through meditation practices that combine breath, movement, and stillness, and in allowing our entire body and being to become our ears.

Here are the 4 simple and powerful beginning stages of our teaching:

1) Standing meditative energization exercises.

2) On the ground, gentle yoga exercises.

3) Modified lotus/chi-kung sitting with external/internal energy movements.

4) Modified savasana-lying down, internal/external energy movements.

We incorporate kirtan music and chanting to enhance and deepen our self-exploration experience.

Spiritualism

Our spiritual practice sees each person and everything in existence as a separate expression of  God.  God is both universal and personal.  The essence of all religions is the same and good: attaining divinity. We learn to speak our truth to the infinite universe, to infinite consciousness.

Kirtan Music Touches the Soul

Ananda Kirtan, which often incorporates Kirtan music, is a wonderful way to enhance your meditation practices. By exploring chi-kung healing alongside these spiritual practices, you can deepen your connection as a spiritual being and enrich your yoga teachings. Google Ananda Kirtan for more insights.

Listening to Krishna Das singing Kirtan music in Sanskrit always resonates with my journey as a spiritual being. Each time I return to his melodies, I find a deeper connection to meditation practices and the wisdom found in yoga teachings, much like the healing energy I experience through chi-kung healing.

Zikh The Guru Ganasha Band combines the uplifting essence of Kirtan music with chi-kung healing to enhance meditation practices. Their teachings resonate with the spiritual being within each of us, drawing upon ancient yoga teachings to foster a deeper connection to self and the universe.

Each person must deal with the idea of God.

Spirituality is not a church, a dogma, or anything outside yourself.

There is more value in who you are than in what you have or in where you've been.

Through Will, Intention, Attention, Awareness, and Sensation, you can experience Divine Intuition.

We need a Place

10,000 sqft Flat Lot with Habitable Structure

A small building with trash bins in front, surrounded by greenery and cloudy sky.

Waiawa is where I envision this church to be. This is an excellent location priced reasonably at $670,000, and we need to raise $750,000.00 for necessary improvements. As a disciple of Yogananda, my teachings encompass not only traditional Yoga but also Chi-kung healing and various concepts from other traditions, which I believe Yogananda would appreciate. However, I would need permission from Ananda Village to use this symbol. I have thoroughly studied the King James Bible, but I consider my spiritual bibles to be: A) Autobiography of a Yogi, by Paramhansa Yogananda, B) The New Path, by Swami Kriyananda, and C) Lightbearer, by Ash Nayaswami. Through Kirtan music and meditation practices, I aim to share the essence of being a spiritual being in my teachings.

"Joy is Within You" symbol.

Outdoor sculpture of three interconnected rings over a blue tiled base.

The entrance sign at Ananda Village, along with the Ananda logo, represents the "Joy Is Within You" symbol, created by Swami Kriyananda. This symbol has multiple layers of meaning that resonate deeply with the teachings of yoga and meditation practices:

Two little lines in the middle represent a bird, symbolizing the spiritual being or soul. Two curved lines at the bottom form a symbolic mountain, representing the soul's aspiration towards God. The other curves illustrate the flight path of the soul or bird.

Overall, the symbol signifies the journey of the soul (the bird) flying out into the world, seeking joy (represented by the flight path), only to discover that true and lasting joy is found within.

In essence, the sign embodies the core message of Ananda, highlighting that lasting happiness and fulfillment are not found in external pursuits but rather through introspection, chi-kung healing, and a connection with the divine within. Additionally, the uplifting Kirtan music often heard in the community echoes this profound message, reinforcing that joy is cultivated through inner awareness.
